The challenge
A market-leading UK-based subscription business, Gousto had to scale up its engineering teams at speed to cope with unprecedented demand for home-delivered recipe boxes triggered by the pandemic. With two new factories coming online, the pressure was on to get work done and ensure projects were aligned with business needs.
The solution
Working with the VP of Engineering, Crosstide developed a new agile planning and governance process and paired experienced Agile Coaches and Delivery Managers with individual teams/squads to provide ‘on the job’ coaching for Gousto engineers.
Crosstide’s experienced consultants transferred learning, helping teams with the day-to-day planning, prioritisation, and delivery of project roadmaps.
The result
The new agile framework and embedded ways of working allow Gousto’s engineering teams to prioritise and streamline the delivery of initiatives while maintaining a tight focus on business continuity. Gousto is now able to manage its market growth trajectory confidently.
